      I think one of the things that’s most exciting and could be used in road cars is KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) which stores the energy of braking in a way that it can be released later to help acceleration.

      A lot of the fuel that we burn in engines to generate power is lost as heat later on when you apply the brakes to slow the car down. With KERS we could store it as useful energy rather than lose it, which would mean we are using the fuel that we put into the car in a much more efficient way.
